Payments
I require a 50% deposit on commisioned work, think of it as a mutual commitment on both our parts. Your deposit allows me to plan your guitar out in advance of construction and gather any special materials I may need. Balance is due in full upon completion before the guitar is shipped.
Shipping and Handling Charges
The costs for shipping will be quoted individually prior to commencing any construction, at this time we will finalize your decision either to proceed or receive a 100% refund of your deposit. Local pick-up can also be arranged in the Greater Toronto Area.
3-Day approval Period
I'm committed to building a solid reputation by making the very best instruments I possibly can with a growing list of satisfied customers. If for any reason you feel this guitar is not for you notify me within 3 days of receipt to arrange for a return. The 3 day approval period applies to standard models and 2012 promo model, this approval period does not apply to customized guitars.
Returns and Refund
On Commissioned Guitars if arranged within the 3-Day approval period a refund will be calculated as follows: Original purchase price minus 30% deposit minus restoration costs = refund amount. Shipping/insurance both directions is the sole responsibility of the purchaser. Guitars purchased from inventory including custom work qualify for a "full refund" when arranged for return within the 3-Day approval period provided they're undamaged and have not been altered. In the event the guitar has been damaged or altered the restoration costs will be deducted from this full refund amount. Shipping/insurance charges both directions will not be refunded under any situation and as always is the sole responsibility of the purchaser.
Warranty
All work is warranted against defects in worksmanship for the life of the original owner or career of this luthier. Warranty is extended to the original owner and is not transferable. This warranty does not cover periodic maintenance, tuners, french polish touch up, worn frets, general wear and tear, damage arising from abuse, exposure to extreme temperatures or humidity, accidents, destruction, natural or man made disasters etc....
